Terms

By contacting me for a commission you agree to all of the following terms.

These terms apply to commissions for personal use only. Businesses interested in my work for cards, books, graphics, etc. should email me directly at shutupkate@gmail.com.

I. Contact

1. The Client is entitled to regular updates on the status of their project. They may contact the Artist by e-mail for updates at any time during the process.
2. Only weekly updates are guaranteed. Daily updates may not be possible due to scheduling conflicts.

II. Rights and Use

1. The Client upon purchasing the completed image is entitled to alter the image as they see fit except for removal of signature.
2. If any edits or alterations are made to the image and the altered image is displayed publicly, the Client must denote that the image has undergone alterations unaffiliated with the Artist.
3. Personal commission Clients do not have commercial rights to the image and may not sell or redistribute the image for financial gains without written consent from the Artist.

III. Edits

1. Large edits are only available during the sketch stage. Once a sketch is approved no extreme changes (i.e. concept, point of view, character) will be offered without additional fees.
2. A maximum of three small edits are available free of charge after the image’s completion.

IV. Payment

1. All Payments have to be in USD (currency of the United States), and will be paid via Paypal or Credit Card.
2. Under no circumstance should the Client send Paypal payments as “Gift”.
3. Payment must be rendered once a sketch is approved. No progress will be made until full payment or a deposit is received.

V. Termination of Contract

1. The Contract will automatically be terminated if there is no communication within 2 weeks of initial contact or 2 weeks after a sketch is rendered.
2. The Client may terminate the project at any time but is not guaranteed a full refund. Partial refunds are available for a project in the early stages of production, but no refund is offered for completed images.

VI. Final Product

1. The finalized commission will be emailed to the Client upon completion.
2. All large paintings may be cropped into icons upon request.
3. Printing services are not currently offered.
